Are you passionate about building scalable, high-performance web applications? iorUp is looking for a Senior Web Developer to lead the development of modern web solutions and contribute to the success of innovative digital products.
As a remote role, you will work closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to architect, develop, and maintain web applications while ensuring high standards of quality, security, and performance.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in web application development.
- Strong proficiency in modern JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Extensive experience with frontend frameworks such as React, Next.js, Vue.js, or similar technologies.
- Strong experience with backend development using Node.js, Laravel, PHP, or other modern backend technologies.
- Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and GraphQL APIs.
- Strong understanding of database systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
- Knowledge of authentication, authorization, and web security best practices.
- Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and scalable application development.
- Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
- Experience mentoring junior developers and conducting code reviews.
- Japanese language proficiency is a plus.
Job Descriptions / Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications and APIs.
- Lead technical implementation and architectural decisions for web projects.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to define technical requirements.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security.
- Review code and provide technical guidance to team members.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues efficiently.
- Implement and maintain automated testing strategies.
- Integrate third-party services, APIs, and cloud-based solutions.
- Participate in technical planning, estimation, and sprint activities.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and engineering standards.
- Stay up to date with emerging web technologies and industry trends.
Working Conditions
- Working Hours: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM (1-hour lunch break).
- Working Days: 5 days a week (Weekdays or weekends depending on project requirements).
